I have worked with REMbuild for a few years on different jobs, they have never disappointed, and this year was no different. I gave REMbuild the task of renovating the food technology room plus the boy’s and girl’s toilets to a more modern open planned toilet block. After having a sit down with Richard and Tim they said that the job was achievable but also said that it is going to run into September month. REMbuild made sure that the student safety was their first priority and took the correct safety precautions to prevent student interaction with an active building site, the school and I are over the moon with the way that REMbuild dealt with the safety issues and the end result of the job.

Mount St Josephs, High School Farnworth, We were fortunate to fund a substantial refurbishment project consisting of four sciences labs and one food tech room. The only downside was that it had to be completed in the summer holidays as we couldn’t free up any classrooms during term time. We appointed Rembuild based on their initial service and competitive price. They were open and honest about programme from the very beginning which enabled us as a school to plan and give them two rooms two weeks before the end of the summer term. Their project management was excellent, they completed on time and on budget. The school as a whole are delighted with the finished rooms

We had the pleasure of working with Rembuild during 2024/25 on a major refurbishment project, which included the creation of eight state of the art Science Labs, two inspiring Art Rooms, and a fully equipped Chemistry Prep Room. From the very beginning, the Rembuild team stood out for their professionalism, robust project management, and refreshingly collaborative, can do attitude.
Their extensive experience in working within live school environments was evident throughout. They navigated the complexities of our operational setting with care and precision, ensuring strong safeguarding and minimal disruption to teaching and learning. Originally planned as a phased project across two summer holidays, we had to accelerate the timeline due to funding constraints—bringing forward the second phase to take place during term time. Rembuild responded with flexibility and confidence, working closely with us to develop a revised plan that ensured the project remained on track.
In contrast to other capital projects we’ve experienced, this one was delivered on time and to an exceptionally high standard. Rembuild’s client-focused approach was clear in every interaction. They took the time to build strong relationships with staff in the affected departments, working with Heads of Department and key operational staff to ensure the final designs met both functional and educational needs. They listened to our concerns and took time to explain more technical aspects, which meant we all had confidence that the project was in safe, professional hands.
All projects experience challenge and the potential for delay, but Rembuild's long-standing relationships with trusted trades and subcontractors ensured timely delivery of milestones, and consistent quality control across all aspects of the build. RemBuild have recently undertaken a large scale redevelopment of our school’s science facilities, comprising of nine science classrooms, a science preparation room, a multi-user staff room, a 6th form Library and science office.
