Mount St Joseph High School – Science & Food Technology Refurbishment
At Mount St Joseph High School, we successfully completed the refurbishment of four science laboratories and one food technology room.
The project transformed what were once dark and dated classrooms into bright, modern, and inspiring learning environments designed to enhance both teaching and student engagement.
Each space was fitted with high quality, durable materials and modern finishes to create a functional yet welcoming atmosphere perfect for delivering practical science lessons and hands on food technology sessions.

Scope of Works

Mount St Joseph High School – Toilet & Kitchen Conversion
At the start of the year, Mount St Joseph High School asked us to transform an unused space previously an old lift shaft and storage room into a functional toilet and kitchen area for the staff and visitors using the conference room upstairs.
We worked closely with the school to make the most of the available space, creating a practical and modern facility that better serves the building’s users.
The result is a bright, accessible, and efficient space, turning what was previously underutilised into a valuable, functional area.

Mount St Joseph High School - Reception Refurbishment
As the summer term approached, the school asked us to carry out a full refurbishment of the main reception area. Our goal was to create a welcoming and functional space for staff, students, and visitors alike.
The project included:
A private workspace for the receptionist
A trophy wall to showcase the school’s achievements
New flooring throughout the area
Creation of a store cupboard
Installation of new fire doors to match the updated design
The result is a modern, open, and practical reception area, enhancing both the functionality and aesthetics of the school’s main entrance. The photos below highlight the transformation and the fresh, contemporary feel of the space.
Mount St Joseph High School - PE Changing & Shower Room Refurbishment
During the summer, the school requested a full refurbishment of the PE shower and changing facilities to improve hygiene, functionality, and durability.
The project included:
Complete strip out of existing fixtures and finishes
Full 1st fix M&E installations
Installation of new flooring and ceiling systems
2nd fix installations to complete the space
Wall cladding in the changing rooms to create a cleaner, more hygienic surface, making it easier to maintain after use
The result is a modern, practical, and easy to clean PE facility, enhancing the student experience and ensuring the space meets current standards for hygiene and functionality.
